The
Barham Golf & Country Club is an 18 hole course featuring
magnificent grass greens.
In
recent years 4 new holes and
a driving range, designed by Ross C. Watson and constructed
by "Turnpoint Construction," have
been completed. This year to complete
the front nine, new 4th and 6th greens and bunkers have been
added. The course is now comparable to some of the best
located anywhere along the Murray River.
Barham
the course without the queues, you won't be disappointed.

Hole
One - Par 4 - 365 / 299m
NEW
HOLE
An
undulating fairway with bunkers located midway and also protecting
the front of the green. If you overshoot the green you will
find the creek.

Hole
Two - Par 5 - 476 / 423m
NEW
HOLE
Long
par 5 running parallel to the creek with fairway bunkers located
to left and right midway down. Green is surrounded by bunkers
to the left and front of the green. Beware the riparian zones.

Hole
Three - Par 3 - 173 / 138m
NEW
HOLE
Par
3 with an elevated green surrounded on all sides with bunkers.
Hole
Four - Par 4 - 366 / 311m
Recently completed new green protected by a bunker
and a new fairway bunker to add to the challenge, tree lines
located both sides.
Hole
Five - Par 4 - 392 / 379m
"Known as 'Gallipoli' for the massive bunker
in front of the green, this is the hardest rated hole at Barham.
A long drive required here to even
contemplate reaching the large elevated two tiered green in
regulation."

Hole
Six - Par 4 - 329 / 297m
The second of the new greens again protected
by a bunker, no longer rated the easiest hole on the course.
Hole
Seven - Par 5 - 471 / 435m
"The
tee shot and second shot need to be accurate to avoid the creek
which runs down the left of the fairway. A short iron is then
needed to reach a very tricky green."

Hole
Eight - Par 4 - 308 / 228m
"A
shortish Par 4 with the tee shot over the creek that also meanders
down the right side of the fairway. The second shot to a large
elevated green offers a birdie opportunity."
Hole
Nine - Par 4 - 289 / 265m
Elevated
tee shot across the creek, with fairway bunkers to the right,
riparian zone to the left and the green is protected on all
sides by bunkers.
Hole
Ten - Par 3 - 165 / 155m
"A
par 3 of 165 metres to a saucer green that is always difficult
to hit in regulation, a par here is a good start to the back
nine"

Hole
Eleven - Par 4 - 372 / 343m
"A
medium length par 4 this is one of the best holes at Barham.
The tee shot has to be accurate to avoid trees on the right
and fairway bunker on the left. The hole doglegs to the right."
Hole
Twelve - Par 5 - 494 / 444m
"The
12th hole is the longest and most highly regarded Par 5 at Barham.
Measuring nearly 500 metres, two good shots are required to
reach the dogleg before an approach to a large green bunkered
on the right. "
Hole
Thirteen - Par 4 - 362 / 316m
"A
par 4 dogleg right to a small green. No bunkers on this hole
but if you miss the green with your approach it is very difficult
to save par"
Hole
Fourteen - Par 5 - 445 / 419m
"The
middle pin of three par 5's on the back nine, this hole requires
accurate play from the tee to the green, fairway bunkers either
side must be avoided before playing to a small un-bunkered green."

Hole
Fifteen - Par 3 - 192 / 152m
"The
longest and most testing of the par 3's at Barham. Your regulation
tee shot to the green will be a true test of your skill."

Hole
Sixteen - Par 5 - 448 / 415m
"Last
of the par 5's at Barham. The tee shot from an elevated tee
needs to be accurate to avoid trees on the right and a fairway
bunker on the left. The approach is to a green bunkered at the
front and sloping from back to front."
Hole
Seventeen - Par 4 - 361 / 313m
"A
very good par 4 slight dogleg to the left. The fairway has a
large bunker on the right that needs to be the avoided to allow
a shot to a large green that is bunkered front right."

Hole
Eighteen - Par 3 - 132 / 112m
"A
great finishing par 3 that has provided many dramatic moments
in the Barham Border Open Pro-Am and other championships over
the years. A seven or eight iron tee shot to a large sloping
green heavily bunkered front and left and dropping away severely
at the back. A three here and you venture to the 19th hole very
contented. "
