The "Jazz
On The Murray" festival will be held from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th
September 2010. This
festival features the best in traditional and contemporary jazz.
Headlining the festival is
Australia's "young king of swing" Carl Riseley.
Carl shot to fame as a finalist on Australia Idol and won praise for
sticking to his roots and giving a jazzy influence to his
performances.
Also featuring at the
festival are traditional favourites Moonee Valley Jazz Band,
Maryborough Traditional Jazz Ensemble, Daily Jazz, Riviera Jazz,
Mauries Jolly Rollers & Double A along with contemporary artists
Glenn Heath & The Deep Blue Sea, Charlotte Jane Band, Shirazz and
Soul Supremacy.
A highlight of the
weekend will be the Jazz By The Lakes with great food and
entertainment in the beautiful surroundings of the Barham Lakes
Complex. This will take place on Sunday morning.
All entertainment is
situated under the one roof, a great dance floor is available, with
full catering facilities provided.
The
12th
Annual Barham Jazz Festival will be held from Thursday 23rd
to Sunday 26th
June 2010.
With non stop Jazz Music for four nights and three days in both the
auditorium and the coffee shop at the Barham Services Club. A
spacious dance floor is available for the more energetic
enthusiasts, with the traditional wine tasting and cheese platters
for those who just like to kick back and enjoy the atmosphere.

are to be confirmed
Thursday is
registration night, at just $25 for the four nights and three days
entertainment. Your registration includes a badge and program. Daily
registration is $10.
Friday evening is
the Gala Night with great prizes to be won throughout the evening.
The
"Play in the Park" on Saturday
was a great morning with lots of jazz enthusiasts attending and will again be held in 2011 on
Saturday
morning.
Sunday again
has the Jazz Breakfast followed by the ever popular
Jazz Mass at the
Anglican Church.
This is a great weekend not to be missed. Full catering facilities
